Hi. I’m Trey. Over the past 30 years have sung and played in a dozen different a cappella groups, world-class choirs, rock bands and more. I studied Vocal Performance at the University of Michigan, graduated with a Music & Production major, and have worked with music ever since.
RECORDING
My cozy little basement studio offers a comfortable environment to record one person at a time. Vocal sessions come with free coaching, and I can offer a variety of microphone setups to capture your favorite instruments. I’m also available for tracking on bass, keys and/or rhythm guitar, and can connect you with other studio musicians as needed. Voiceover and Audiobook recording are other areas where my little studio can shine.
EDITING & MIXING
A raw recording is never quite satisfying, is it? My expertise really comes into play in this phase, when we turn your sound into magic. I’ve worked with dozens of artists in dozens of genres, and each one left happy with an edit that showed them at their best, with a mix that brought attention to their unique sound.
ARRANGING & COMPOSING
With hundreds of a cappella and instrumental arrangements and dozens of compositions under my belt, I can write & work with you (or for you), on a commission or hourly basis, to create the arrangement or composition that’s exactly what you were looking for.
VOCAL COACHING & VOICE LESSONS
With 30 years of singing & coaching experience, I can offer value to singers in any genre, and have helped even the most seasoned veterans expand their horizons. Get comfortable, consistent results with simple, personalized steps.
Every vocal recording session comes with a built-in voice lesson! Stand-alone lessons are also available.
MEMORIES & GIFTS
In this age of AI music, Posterity may be the best reason for recording. What a priceless gift it is when your favorite voices record their favorite songs, or your loved ones interview each other. In one recording session and one hour of mixing, you can record your voice (or instrument) to a karaoke or instrumental track of your choosing.

Sample Work
I’ve mixed for dozens of artists, each with their own style, from Ziggy Marley & the Jerusalem Youth Chorus to my own daughter. Several of my mixed tracks have ended up on national compilation albums like BOCA & Sing, while others have become priceless family heirlooms.
